Nice to Meet You!

Brittany Sudbrook, PT, MSPT
Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists
It wasn’t until the birth of my daughter in 2019 that my physical therapy career changed direction. After spending 10+ years in Orthopedic PT, I decided to take a leap of faith. After childbirth, I was left with pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, and diastasis recti. Here I was with a newborn baby with pelvic pain, and I lacked the knowledge to help myself. All I would hear is, “Welcome to motherhood. Peeing on yourself is the rite of passage to being a mother.” Well, that wasn’t good enough for me. This led me to a feverish pursuit to gain knowledge of the pelvic floor and associated treatment concepts. Empower Pelvic Health was born to blend my love for orthopedics with the skills gained from my exhaustive research and advanced education in pelvic floor therapy! Knowledge is power, and people have immense freedom when supported and guided to understand themselves truly. As Empower has grown, and I have taken a step back from patient care, my passion has become building up wonderful and talented pelvic floor specialists.

Physical Therapist
Sarah Ardoin, PT, DPT
Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists
I have been practicing in orthopedics during my 5 years as a DPT. My first experience with pelvic floor PT was through mentorship hours to complete orthopedic fellowship training. It seemed odd to me that I was specifically trained to evaluate structures in every other part of the body, and yet I couldn't name any of the muscles "down there." After some training and experience, I realized pelvic floor and orthopedic patient care can blend seamlessly, and it is the logical evolution of my practice.
I have always been physically active, participating in competitive gymnastics, dance, cheer, triathlons, and a marathon. Part of the fuel for my constant pursuit of knowledge was to figure out my own chronic lower back pain and urinary incontinence that started from a young age. Now that I know there are solutions, I can use my passion for movement and background knowledge to help patients find resolution of symptoms and freedom of movement in their bodies.
Treating patients with chronic pain is something I have a passion for and a lot of experience with. Helping them to understand what is happening with their bodies, and developing active strategies to improve function, is where I truly feel called as a clinician.
Dr. Sarah Ardoin received her Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science from McNeese State University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University. She is a Louisiana native and a huge lover of all things dog and coffee related. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors, trying out new recipes, and reading.

Physical Therapist
Ashley Webb, PT, DPT
Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists
I have spent the past four years practicing as a physical therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting. I also completed my fellowship in manual physical therapy in 2023. While completing fellowship mentoring hours, I was awakened to the world of pelvic floor therapy. I realized that while treating in a “normal” outpatient orthopedic setting, I was missing a piece of the puzzle: the pelvic floor! I also realized “pelvic floor problems” affected more than just postpartum women. Everyone has the potential to have pelvic floor issues including athletes of all ages. Whether you have had a baby or not, pelvic floor issues exist, and I want to encourage women to speak up about ANY symptoms they have and help women have a greater voice in their own personal healthcare journey. Treating the musculoskeletal system as a whole to help assist patients in returning to activities that make them happy is my passion. I believe physical activity is the key to longevity in life and an improved quality of life. By providing patients with tools and strategies to mitigate symptoms and problems along the way, I can help patients achieve their individual goals.
Ashley is a born and raised Texan. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from UT Tyler where she also played college softball. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Growing up, she enjoyed playing softball and barrel racing. In her spare time, she continues to enjoy riding her horse and working on her family’s land taking care of all of their horses, cows, and dogs. She also tap into her competitive side playing slow pitch softball on the weekends with friends. Her true passion in life is traveling to the mountains. She loves cold weather and absolutely loves any chance to hike or go whitewater rafting.

Physical Therapist
Rachel Red, PT, DPT
Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists
Cert. Integrative Behavioral Health
I was introduced to the area of Pelvic Health very early on in my career… like back when it was called “women’s health,” and I’ll admit, I never really saw myself being a Pelvic Health practitioner. As grateful as I was that this area existed, I didn’t really think it was for me. Then, while on the tour circuit with shows like Jesus Christ Superstar, Six the Musical, and Hamilton, I began having more and more conversations with people (particularly performers because there are no secrets backstage…), and I was shocked how many individuals, regardless of gender, age, or sexual identity, had pelvic health issues. These individuals showed me how profound of an impact these issues can have on your chosen lifestyle, physical health, sexual health, and even sports performance. I aspire to help individuals achieve their goals of pain-free, purposeful, and pleasurable “down there” business!
Rachel is a proud 2010 graduate of UT Health San Antonio where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She completed her AAOMPT Fellowship in May 2017. In the summer of 2021, Rachel started EIM’s Integrative Behavioral Health program which she completed in May 2022 with her thesis project, “It’s All in the Mind or So They Say: An Integrative Behavioral Path for the Performing Arts Athlete.” Rachel is a born and bred Texan back from traveling the country. In her free time she enjoys the theater, dancing, and game nights.

Office Manager
Emily McAuley
My sister, who was a patient here at Empower Pelvic Health after the birth of my niece, is the reason I am here today and the first person to ever tell me about pelvic floor physical therapy. I had been exposed to the birthing field for many years as I had the honor of attending my first nephew’s homebirth and learn about birth from my sister, who has worked as a doula. When the opportunity arose to become the Patient Care Coordinator here, I knew immediately I was interested. I have worked in the customer service field for most of my teenage and adult life and have always enjoyed the opportunity I had in those positions to love on people in small ways and in small moments. Over the last few years here, I have truly fallen in love with this field and the Empower Culture. Through my work here at EPH, I have been able to witness the way in which pelvic floor physical therapy can change the lives of both men and women, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to lead the administrative team as Office Manager in providing the best, most kind, and compassionate care.
Emily received her Bachelor's of Science in Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences from Texas A&M University in 2018. At the same time, she received her Undergraduate Certificates in Tourism Management, Youth Development and Event Management as well as a Minor in Psychology. Emily is native to the Houston Area. She loves coffee, Jesus, and going to the beach (even Galveston), and in her free time, she enjoys reading and watching movies, especially horror movies, as well as spending time with her family, friends and her labradoodle, Milo.

Patient Care Coordinator
Cassidy McNabb
When I first heard about the Assistant Patient Care Coordinator job opportunity, I had no idea what exactly Empower Pelvic Health was. I just knew that I would be working with Physical Therapists who specialize in the pelvic area. Now that I have been here a few months, and am now the Patient Care Coordinator, I know that just scratched the surface. I have learned and grown to admire our PTs’ approach to looking at the body as a whole and not just as a pelvis. Having given birth to three babies, I can really appreciate the work and care they apply to their patients. I learn something about my body almost daily I would’ve had no idea about before working at Empower Pelvic Health. I figured low back pain and urinary leakage was just the norm after having babies and lifting heavy weights. It's a great feeling talking to patients about what they're feeling and seeing positive results from the work they have done here at Empower Pelvic Health. There's nothing better than watching someone walk out of their PT’s office say they have graduated and are full of excitement.
Cassidy is a wife and mother of four. She has paused her studies in Phlebotomy to focus more on her family and life outside of Empower Pelvic Health. She is enthusiastic about fitness, loves being active outdoors, boating and spending her free time with her family and three dogs. She is passionate about devoting her life to God, animals, traveling, and the anatomy of a woman.
